Durante casi veinte años, el Centro de Trabajadores ha organizado junto a trabajadores y trabajadoras para combatir la explotación, eliminar las barreras a las oportunidades y construir poder colectivo. Juntos, imaginamos una ciudad donde la clase trabajadora no solo pueda sobrevivir, sino prosperar.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build a multiracial movement of workers to transform the systems that exploit us. We want New Orleans to be a city where every worker can live with dignity, shape the decisions that affect their lives, and share in the prosperity they create.

The Research and Policy Committee works to transform workers’ experiences into policy solutions. Members help research issues, advocate for legislative change, and ensure that the voices of directly impacted workers are represented in public decision-making.

Our Warrant Clinic helps Orleans Parish residents resolve traffic fines, municipal warrants, driver's license issues, and other legal barriers that can prevent people from accessing employment and stability. By removing these barriers, we're helping workers move forward while building stronger communities.
